Duch went to Ecuador!

Duch did amazingly in Ecuador! She was patient, flexible, curious, and a very good listener!!! She spend time with my family even when I was somewhere else! :) All these things were a uncertain five years ago. Now, she is doing all the things we dreamed her of doing.  Enjoy the moment, ladies! Here is a small sample of her pictures!

Liam and his swing set

Finally, a present that he LOVES!! Liam LOVES his swing set!!! Tony enjoys it a lot, too. Duch seems to be the one with the least sensory needs for swings :)  Look how happy he looks on the swing! Gives you a new understanding of sensory needs for movement! :)

Daddy's 60th bday!!!

We celebrated Antonio's birthday a bit in advance this year. He started with a 90 minutes massage at Massage Envy, which he LOVED. He got 4 management books + his LEGO cargo train as present, which he also loved. He had his favorite cake, frozen vanilla passion, which he thought was fantastic. And, we went to The Melting Pot for early dinner and had cheese fondue, salad, meat fondue and chocolate fondue!  He was happy and excited and said the day was great :) Of course, he does not look like 60 and he has decided that "he spent his first 60 years learning stuff, and now he will use the second 60 years using what he has learned." Happy bday!!!

Duch's and Liam's first visit to the dentist

Duch did amazingly at the dentist - super calm and happy. She had 0 cavities!
Liam was a bit nervous, still, he did fine. He had 0 cavities!
Hoooray!

The Little Gym End of Semester Show

Tony and Duch had their end of semester show at The Little Gym. Duch freaked out a little bit at the idea of a show, with clapping, and "ta-daaaas". BUT, she kept herself together she best she could and she allowed me to guide her and "push" her a bit to complete the event, instead of just hiding in the bathroom or leaving the room. I was very proud of her flexibility and patience and willingness to get out of her comfort zone. Tony? He did fantastic! At end, both kids got medals and a diploma. Enjoy!

Our two medal winners. At the end, Duch got comfort from daddy's arms. She did leave his arms to get her medal and then came back to daddy's arms. She had had enough of the "show", but still was patient and flexible.
