1. This is the year that my daughter discovered that her brother Tony is fun and that they could be friends and have a great time together. I waited 4 years for this to happen, and .... it happened this year!
2. This is the year that my Tony overcame what appeared to be a road to an ADHD diagnosis, and healed his body and brain to have a wonderful school experience this academic year in Kindergarten. Because his body is more balanced, he can create relationships with others and is creating friendships with his peears at school and with his sister at home.
3. This is the year my Liam went from having multiple sensory challenges as the year started, to becoming now more assertive, more his own person telling us what he wants and doesn't want to do :) His sensitivity to light seems to be gone. His sensitivity to sound is getting better :)
I am looking forward to all the growth 2012 will bring them. Here are some of the last pictures of the year (hmmmm, I am not sure why with my new camera, I cannot get the pictures to be in portrait position ... will work on that ...).
