3. Uses pronouns correctly: he, she, you, I , me, they, us, etc
4. Is able to politely get someone’s attention when the person is occupied. e.g. “Excuse me …” and ask questions or initiate a conversation.

***Play-date games to practice: Parachute,  Duck Duck Goose,  Bingo,  Twister,  Musical chairs,  Orchestra,  Egg-and-spoon race,  Tree-legged race,   Obstacle course.

Ideas we brainstormed:

- Poster board faces  for Duch asking questions
- "Are you my mother?" book
- "Why" books
- Puppets for pronouns

LIAM

New goals for this month:
1. Conversation of 2 loops or more (when he is engaged already)
2. More complex sentences that contain nouns and verbs and more
3. Diversifying the games plus adding pretend play (birthdays, magic carpets, puppet shows, camping, etc)

Ideas we brainstormed:
- Highlights.com for hidden pictures
- Mad Libs : download some from the internet or create your own on paper or on the white board
- Storyplace.org  : get familiar with these stories because we could play them out or have conversations about them. His favorites are: “Engine engine number 9”, “the fish in the reef”, one about colors, one about a boy in a bathtub, one about a girl singing in a barn, etc.
- Break the ice with words (use markers or scotch tape)
- Cutting with scissors games
- Games with numbers (like chicka chicka 123) and counting by 2s, 5s, or 10s
- We will limit 1 seaweed per session
- Joining by playing something else (the “little people” technique we used with Duch)
- Be aware: “How into the game am I myself?”
